The Gatcombe and Chillerton Scarecrow Festival

Is now on!!

The festival runs from Saturday 27th May to Sunday 4th June.

We have been running our famous festival since 2010 (When we won The Beautiful South GOLD Award)

Not only can you have a nice cup of tea and a slice of cake at Aunt Sally's Tea Room at the Community Hall, you can also sup a pint at the Gallybagger Inn which is open every day in the Reading Room (Chillerton Club).
Aunt Sally's is open everyday from 11am - 4pm and here are the opening times for the Gallybagger Inn.

The Scarecrows include a diverse range of creations to amuse and amaze - with something for everyone - don't miss it!

Our festival raises money for local causes such as the upkeep of the village hall, equipment for the allotment group and the Church at Gatcombe.
